CIPA SPSL S.A. (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) organized a lecture on November 8 at ETA Vargem Grande entitled “Blue November: Awareness and Prevention of Prostate Cancer and Men’s Health.” The event is part of the Blue November program and was attended by professionals from SPSL S.A. and its subcontractors.

The lecture was given by nurse Raquel Santos Oliveira, technical manager of the Basic Health Units of the city of Vargem Grande Paulista in the state of São Paulo, and aimed to raise awareness among employees about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of prostate cancer, as well as demystifying the disease and promoting self-care among men.

During the event, workers had the opportunity to learn about the symptoms of prostate cancer, ways to prevent it, necessary care, and treatment options. The lecture also provided an opportunity to answer questions, reinforcing the importance of talking about the topic and seeking regular medical advice.
