On Tuesday, May 27, professionals from SPSL S.A. and Sabesp (Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo) participated in an important lecture on the Yellow May movement, given by Ranieri Ribeiro, president of CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) at the Water Treatment Plant – ETA VGP.
The action is part of the company’s initiatives focused on the safety, health, and well-being of professionals, reinforcing its commitment to accident prevention, both inside and outside the workplace. During the presentation, Ranieri highlighted key data on traffic accidents in Brazil, the most common risk factors, and, above all, the importance of conscious and responsible attitudes behind the wheel. The content provided practical reflections on how each person can contribute to safer traffic, whether as a driver, passenger, or pedestrian.
The lecture concluded with an activity that assessed participants’ knowledge of good traffic practices and the hope that the messages of Yellow May will inspire positive changes in responsible attitudes on the road. The president of CIPA thanked everyone involved for their participation and reinforced SPSL S.A.’s commitment to a culture of safety and accident prevention.
