CEEC has implemented the world’s first 300 MW compressed air energy storage (CAES) system, located in Yingcheng, Hubei, China. The Nengchu-1 project is a global technological milestone, setting records in unit power, storage scale, and energy conversion efficiency.
This technology represents a new phase in large-scale storage, providing a robust and sustainable alternative to conventional battery energy storage systems (BESS). Its main advantages include long service life, low degradation, reduced environmental impact, and continuous operation with high stability, making it ideal for large-scale applications.
We are open to partnerships in Brazil and have the necessary expertise to develop this solution locally. Technological cooperation is vital to strengthen the energy transition and position Brazil as a benchmark for innovation and sustainability.
