Last Sunday, August 17, professionals from CEEC Brazil and SPSL S.A. participated in the Race and Walk Against Hunger, organized by Ação da Cidadania in Brazil. The event combined health, solidarity, and sportsmanship in a race that went beyond the finish line, with the central purpose of combating hunger in the country. The race featured different participation modalities and brought together people of diverse profiles and paces in a moment of integration and social engagement.
The funds raised during the event contribute directly to maintaining the activities of Ação da Cidadania, expanding the reach of food distribution and reinforcing the positive impact on vulnerable communities. Marcelo Indame, CEO of SPSL S.A., highlighted the importance of professional participation: “Events like this show that it is possible to combine health and solidarity for the greater good. The fight against hunger requires collective effort, and initiatives such as the Race and Walk Against Hunger reinforce our commitment to citizenship, social responsibility, and quality of life.”
